1.Introduction 

1.1 Scope and Purpose 

This is a user guide for comparing JIRA resources on JIRA cloud, it displays processes used  to compare resources and schemas in the JIRA cloud. The results of the comparison will  be displayed in the output page 

This page is desperately helpful for Jira Administrators to be able to compare JIRA  resources and Schemas using different hosting type and schemes. There are three basic  hosting types which are the cloud, server and Data centre. Each hosting sites displays  different schemes. 

1.2 Process Overview 

The process will involve comparing the JIRA resources and schemas in the JIRA cloud. The  process starts from the Homepage and inputting the right parameters to generate results  for a specified search. Clicking on the “Compare” button will enable the user to have access  to the results required. 

  1. Process Workflow 1 

 The user must have access to the JIRA cloud to be able to utilise this functionality. The  hosting site will be JIRA cloud. The first page will consist of a landing page requesting to  choose a hosting type which is displayed on the Introductory Page. From the introductory  page the user will be directed to the different pages for the Hosting sites. 

2.1 How to use Cloud Hosting site

The Cloud Hosting site will require a Domain name, email and API key. Then click on  compare to give results

With the cloud hosting sites, six schemes will be compared as shown below  

2.2 How to use server hosting site 

The server hosting site will display the page below. The requirements for the server  hosting are the Domain, User name and Password. 

The server will display three schemes namely the Permission scheme, Issue type scheme and  Notification scheme.

2.3 How to use Data Centre Hosting site 

Using the Data centre will entail a user name, domain and password. Once the columns  have been filled in with the right details, it will the desired result. 

For the Data centre it will compare the Permission Schemes, Issue Type Schemes and Notification  Scheme.
