Counting JIRA Resources

  1. Introduction 

1.1 Scope and Purpose 

This is a user guide for counting JIRA resources on JIRA cloud, it displays processes used in counting resources and schemas in the JIRA cloud. The results of the count will be displayed in a tabular form with the Product name and String Value. 

Jira server has a counter page but none in Jira cloud. This page is desperately helpful for  Jira Administrators to be able to count JIRA resources and Schemas using different types of counts such as JIRA service count, scheme count and JIRA service desk count. All counts come in different colour schemes. 

1.2 Process Overview 

The process will involve counting the JIRA resources and schemas in the JIRA cloud. Clicking on the “Get Started” button will enable the user to have access to the types of count that could be selected from. The counts exhibited will include three different types of count such as the JIRA service count, scheme count and JIRA service desk count. 

  1. Process Workflow 1 

 The user must have access to the JIRA cloud to be able to utilise this functionality. The  hosting site will be JIRA cloud. The first page will consist of a blue button with “Get Started”  which is displayed on the Introductory Page. From the introductory page the user will be  directed to the count page consisting of JIRA service count, scheme count and JIRA service  desk count. 

2.1 How to use JIRA software count

The Jira software count when clicked on will lead to a page whereby the user can view  the product names and the string values based on JIRA scheme count.

2.2 How to use Scheme Count 

The Scheme count when clicked on will display the page below with the following  Product Names and String values

2.3 How to use JIRA service desk counts 

On clicking the JIRA service desk count the page displayed below will be the output page.  Different counters have different colour codes. The different product names and string  values will also be given.
